The houses/doors/fairies and vendors will be placed along the 1 mile stretch of the blue trail from the bath house entrance to the Rustic Bridge. New for 2021: For 2021 we’re letting our builders choose to create houses as usual ($25) or fairy doors/fairy folk out of natural materials as a no cost option. We will implement a no contact drop off over a longer period of time.
Fairy houses can be made out of any materials but must be under 2’ x 2’ in size. You may include a sign under 18” x 18”. House builders may pick up their houses after the event on June 12 between 4p-5p or June 13 noon-3p at the Bath House.
Fairy doors and fairies that you create should be no larger than a foot tall. No platforms, buildings or signs. They should be made of natural materials (twigs, pinecones, stones, moss, acorns, bark, etc & whatever glue or twine etc you’ll hold it together with). Natural materials fairy doors and fairies will become permanent residents of the Hopedale Parklands.
We will be posting examples of both choices on our event page. Please visit the ‘2021 Hopedale Fairy Walk’ Facebook event page for ideas!
Individuals, groups or businesses are welcome to participate by submitting a house, door or fairy. Mail your application & drop off your creation to the FOHH.
No applications or creations will be accepted after June 9, 2021.
No contact drop off! Any time between May 1 – June 9, 2021. Email for address to drop off your fairy houses/doors/fairies. Email: email@example.com
