The fairy walk will take place along the one mile stretch of the blue trail between the Bath House and the Rustic Bridge. The entrance is just past the Bath House behind 76 Dutcher Street, Hopedale, MA. This is not a loop so keep in mind that it's one mile in and one mile back. It really doesn't seem like much when you're in the fun of it but we've got plenty of resting spots, activities, vendors and snacks along the way for you! Bring your camera, the scenery is amazing!
***FREE ADMISSION - FREE PARKING - FREE SHUTTLE BUS FROM PARKING*** (We highly suggest using our parking lots and avoiding street parking)
Look for parking signs to direct you to our two free lots.

****You just have to send in your application/payment--your houses still don't need to be ready until the day before the event. It just helps us tremendously to take care of paperwork early.****
Applications can be found at the Hopedale Post Office, Bancroft Memorial Library, The Curiosity Shoppe of Hopedale & the Hopedale Community House. We can email you one if you ask at: email@example.com or you can download one at the bottom of this page!
That's OK! We're still accepting fairy house applications until June 1st! Your house still doesn't have to be ready for drop off until June 7th.
Houses will need to be dropped off on June 7th in Hopedale. Specific drop off instructions will be emailed to you the week before the event.
Our volunteers place your houses along the trail so we ask you to try to keep them under 3' x 3' so they're not too hard to lift and under 50lbs. Special arrangements will need to be made for anything bigger/heavier. You should also be sure to secure your decorations to your platform/house so nothing gets lost during placement.
Yes! The majority of the trail is hard packed dirt. You will come across some roots and rocks but many visitors used strollers and wagons last year without too much trouble. Keep in mind that the trail is one mile long, but it is not a loop...so that's another mile out. There is plenty to stop and see though and we promise it goes by fast! There are potties along the trail, lots of places to rest and snacks!
